Seed potatoes are lifted in this video with a very impressive outfit. Despite the harvester tractor only being a John Deere 6115R (140 HP with boost) it is still capable of lifting four 75cm rows of potatoes. On the front is a Tolmac TM 14 front harvester and on the rear a Krakei two row trailed harvester. The front machine drops the crop between the middle two rows.
A John Deere 7710 and 6930 can be seen carting the crop away using high capacity Veenhuis trailers. Conditions were very dry and dusty as you can see, but the subsoil was still wet on this very heavy clay soil. Sadly it was also a very windy day.
